Today is ... November 11

Today is 11-11-11 ... Veterans Day

Today is I am grateful for all of those who have served our country ... including my husband and grandfathers. Without the sacrifice of these individuals, and many more, no telling where we would be. God watch over those currently serving ... we appreciate them all.

Today is ... November 8

Today is November 8 and I am grateful for being able to multi-task. I know some people have a problem with it and like to take one thing at a time, but me ... I seem to really get going to more things I'm jungling. I few things going on now are a pending 26 office remodel, a retirement luncheon and a christmas luncheon ... and that's just here in the office. In my personal life ... well, let's not go there in this post :)

Today is ... catch-up day

Dang ... I've done it again ! Why can't I seem to keep up with this 30 days of gratitude thing ?? So, today is catch-up day.

Nov. 4 - I'm thankful for hockey games. I love hockey and it's a time that my husband and I spend together ... enjoying the game, our company and not worrying about "stuff".

Nov. 5 - I'm thankful for sleeping in. I've needed sleep so badly and I managed to get 12 hours ... that NEVER happens.

Nov. 6 - I'm thankful for church. I so enjoy our new church and the fellowship we have there. I have never felt so welcomed and so full of the spirit as I do at the chapel.

Nov. 7 - I'm thankful to have a job. As weird as that may sound coming from me, I really am thankful to have a job ... so many are without and have been without for long stretches of time.

And now ... I'm thankful that I'm caught up ... it was really, really bothering me not to be.

Today is ... November 3

Today is November 3 and I'm thankful for my puppies. Well, they aren't really puppies anymore ... today they are 7 years old. I have no clue where the years have gone, but I can tell you I love them as much today as when I brought them home. They are brothers and they act like any other siblings ... they pick at each other and annoy each other just like kids. Happy Birthday boys ... mama loves you.

Today is ... November 2

Today is November 2 and I'm thankful for beautiful sunrises. I so enjoy this time of year because I get to see sunrises like this on the way to work. With the time change this weekend, they will be long gone by the time I'm driving to work. So, for now, I enjoy them and think of God's beauty and grace as I enjoy the view.

Today is ... November 1

Like many other bloggers, I decided that I'd post an "I'm Thankful For" ... for the next 30 days. Well, darn if I didn't miss day 1. So, today I post two and try my hardest to keep up.

Nov. 1 - I am thankful for family and friends. Without the unconditional support I receive from these people I couldn't possibly survive.
