Today is ... a day of sad
This morning, we went to a funeral for a dear family friend. It was sad, it was special, it was difficult. Difficult to watch her mother (age 97) during the funeral as she stared longingly at the casket of her daughter (age 72). A mother burying her daughter ... something just isn't right about that ... but who are we to say.

Today is ... a special day.
Today is a special day for a couple of reasons:
1 - It's the first day of my blog
2 - It's my grandmother's 91st birthday.
After spending an inspiring weekend at SPARK in Utah, I've decided to try my hand at blogging. Where this blog will go ... only time will tell.
My dear grandmother is 91 years young today. I can't even imagine the changes she's seen in her lifetime. Happy Birthday grandma ... here's to yet another year of good health and happiness. I love you !
